Event Description

As you know we had this crazy idea last week to have a Chive Meetup for the Kentucky Derby at this amazing barn just outside of town where, every year, one of the premiere Derby pre-parties is hosted. The goal- to raise as much money for CreatiVets as possible.

It was a long shot. But now Harley-Davidson has stepped in and we are a full green light.  theCHIVE is officially hosting Probably the Biggest Derby Pre-Party in History! Joining us for this meetup will be Joe Bachman in our first official trip ever to Kentucky. The party starts May 6th just outside of Louisville 7pm-10pm. All tickets will go on sale this Thursday, April 21st at 2pm EST.

This is going to be a can’t miss party with hundreds of Chivers from across the midwest. A limited number of $100 VIP tickets will also be released. They are first come, first serve, and get you a crazy amount of upgrades for the night including:

1 Hour Early Entrance (6PM to party)
– Entrance to party/concert
– VIP Parking
– Open Food Buffet
– Unlimited KCCO Gold Lager
– Unlimited Top Shelf Spirits
– Entrance to the KCCO Beer Garden
– NFL meet and greet in KCCO Beer Garden

Most pre-parties for the Derby start at $300 and go up from there. Whether you snag a $100 VIP ticket or a general admission ticket when they go on sale in a few days, you’re gonna be way ahead when it comes to having a great time. More information on all the shenanigans we’ll be getting into RIGHT HERE. We’ll have brand new 2016 Harley-Davidson® motorcycles and even a Jumpstart™ Experience on site. All tickets will go on sale this Thursday, April 21st at 2pm EST and will go directly to CreatiVets.

Use of Your Image.  You authorize Resignation Media, LLC and its parents, subsidiaries, employees, members, managers, officers, directors, affiliated entities, agents, successors, and assigns (collectively, "Resignation") to, in its sole discretion, use, copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, publicly display, or otherwise make use of any images containing, in whole or in part, your person, image, or likeness for commercial and non-commercial purposes, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, including but not limited to, print, online, digital, video, and in connection with all websites, products, or services offered by Resignation and/or the marketing or advertising thereof, from this date and continuing forever, without any compensation to you.

Travel and Limitation of Liability.  By your purchase of a ticket to the Event, you acknowledge that you are willing to travel to the Event.  You are solely responsible for making your own travel and accommodation arrangements and are all costs thereof associated with attending the Event.  In the event of a cancellation of or other changes to the Event, YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY WILL BE A REFUND OF THE TICKET PRICE OF THE EVENT.  YOU AGREE THAT RESIGNATION WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, HOWEVER CAUSED, UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, AND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR RESIGNATION WAS OR SHOULD HAVE BEEN AWARE OR ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

Indemnification.  You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Resignation from and against any and all claims, demands, actions or causes of action, losses, damages, lawsuits, debts, proceedings, fees (including court costs and reasonable attorney's fees), and judgments, caused by, arising from, or relating to your participation in or attendance at this Event.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY.  YOU HERE RELEASE, WAIVE, ACQUIT, DISCHARGE, COVENANT NOT TO SUE, AND HOLD HARMLESS RESIGNATION FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITIES, INJURIES (INCLUDING DEATH), DAMAGES, CLAIMS, DEMANDS, ACTIONS OR CAUSES OF ACTION, LOSSES, SUITS, DEBTS, PROCEEDINGS, FEES (INCLUDING COURT COSTS AND REASONABLE ATTORNEY’S FEES), AND JUDGMENTS, IN LAW OR IN EQUITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN OR ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENT, CAUSED BY, ARISING FROM, OR OCCURRING FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES TO YOUR PERSON OR PROPERTY, VIOLATION OF RIGHTS OF PRIVACY OR PUBLICITY, AND/OR THE SOLE, JOINT, OR CONCURRENT NEGLIGENCE, STATUTORY FAULT, OR STRICT LIABILITY OF RESIGNATION.
