theCHIVE’s HOMEFRONT: THE REVOLUTION Official Meetup

Event Description

Every spring, thousands of gamers descend on Boston for the Penny Arcade Expo. We’ve teamed up with our friends over at Homefront: The Revolution to throw a meetup worthy of the Cradle of Liberty city.

We’ll be out at Artists For Humanity Epicenter which will be completely transformed into a Homefront resistance bunker from 12pm-5pm EST. Swing by as the event is open to the public, will have alcohol available to purchase, chances to win prizes, and you’ll get a chance to star in an upcoming video on theCHIVE! We’ll also have a ton of exclusive gameplay from the latest installment of Homefront before it drops in stores.

THEN THE MEETUP BEGINS. From 7-10pm at the same location, we’ll be completely transforming the space into a speakeasy. Tickets are just $5, get you two drink tickets and go on sale this Wednesday the 20th at 2pm EST. The official meetup tickets are first come, first serve, so be quick with the clicks.

Use of Your Image.  You authorize Resignation Media, LLC and its parents, subsidiaries, employees, members, managers, officers, directors, affiliated entities, agents, successors, and assigns (collectively, "Resignation") to, in its sole discretion, use, copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, publicly display, or otherwise make use of any images containing, in whole or in part, your person, image, or likeness for commercial and non-commercial purposes, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, including but not limited to, print, online, digital, video, and in connection with all websites, products, or services offered by Resignation and/or the marketing or advertising thereof, from this date and continuing forever, without any compensation to you.

Travel and Limitation of Liability.  By your purchase of a ticket to the Event, you acknowledge that you are willing to travel to the Event.  You are solely responsible for making your own travel and accommodation arrangements and are all costs thereof associated with attending the Event.  In the event of a cancellation of or other changes to the Event, YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY WILL BE A REFUND OF THE TICKET PRICE OF THE EVENT.  YOU AGREE THAT RESIGNATION WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, HOWEVER CAUSED, UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, AND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR RESIGNATION WAS OR SHOULD HAVE BEEN AWARE OR ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

Indemnification.  You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Resignation from and against any and all claims, demands, actions or causes of action, losses, damages, lawsuits, debts, proceedings, fees (including court costs and reasonable attorney's fees), and judgments, caused by, arising from, or relating to your participation in or attendance at this Event.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY.  YOU HERE RELEASE, WAIVE, ACQUIT, DISCHARGE, COVENANT NOT TO SUE, AND HOLD HARMLESS RESIGNATION FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITIES, INJURIES (INCLUDING DEATH), DAMAGES, CLAIMS, DEMANDS, ACTIONS OR CAUSES OF ACTION, LOSSES, SUITS, DEBTS, PROCEEDINGS, FEES (INCLUDING COURT COSTS AND REASONABLE ATTORNEY’S FEES), AND JUDGMENTS, IN LAW OR IN EQUITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN OR ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENT, CAUSED BY, ARISING FROM, OR OCCURRING FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES TO YOUR PERSON OR PROPERTY, VIOLATION OF RIGHTS OF PRIVACY OR PUBLICITY, AND/OR THE SOLE, JOINT, OR CONCURRENT NEGLIGENCE, STATUTORY FAULT, OR STRICT LIABILITY OF RESIGNATION.
